Child Safety Standards
Our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Last updated: October 2, 2026.
1. Zero tolerance
Friendse has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any content, account, or behaviour that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or abuses minors is prohibited everywhere on Friendse: posts, videos, Status, comments, profiles, chat, groups, and Shop Sphere listings.
2. What is prohibited
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a minor (real, edited, or AI-generated).
- Grooming, or attempting to contact, lure, or build a sexual or exploitative relationship with a minor.
- Sexual communication with minors, sextortion, or coercing a minor to share images.
- Sharing or trading information that helps anyone find or access CSAM.
- Child trafficking, or promoting or enabling any form of child abuse or exploitation.
3. Minimum age
Friendse is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we remove it.
4. How you can report a concern in the app
- Use the Report option on any post, video, Status, comment, profile, or Shop Sphere listing and choose the child-safety reason.
- You can block any user and manage who can contact you from your Privacy Settings.
- Logged-in members can also open a ticket from Help & Support.
- You can email our designated contact below at any time.
Reports go directly to our moderation team. Child-safety reports are treated as the highest priority.
5. How we enforce these standards
- We use a mix of automated moderation checks and human review to find and assess violating content.
- Content that violates these standards is removed promptly.
- Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned, and we may restrict related accounts and devices.
- We preserve relevant information as required by law so it can be provided to the proper authorities.
6. Reporting to authorities
We comply with all relevant child safety laws. When we become aware of apparent CSAM or child exploitation, we report it to the relevant regional and national authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests. If a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first. You can also report CSAM directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline or the Internet Watch Foundation.
7. Designated point of contact
Our designated contact for child safety, CSAE, and CSAM prevention and compliance questions is: [email protected] . Please put "Child Safety" in the subject line.
